General Laborer, 40 hours/week (8am-4:30pm)
8-hr shifts at our Fairlawn Campus
No Holidays or Weekends
SUMMARY OF POSITION
In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the General Laborer is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and housekeeping department on the overall condition of the property. This includes being responsible for all types of housekeeping, floor care cleaning throughout the building as well as cleaning of common areas, trash removal, outside maintenance surrounding building, and other duties as directed by the Director of Facility Services.

Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Must possess some general maintenance skill.
- Required to be familiar with and use all hand tools and power tools common to the skills listed below
- Basic knowledge of general floor care: stripping, waxing, and refinishing
- Experience in housekeeping preferred
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs. independently and over 50lbs. with assistance.
