Part-time Preschool Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through engaging curriculum and activities.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports early intervention strategies for children with diverse needs.
• Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their emotional and educational needs are met.
• Organize and lead activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual growth in young children.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the preschool program.
• Ensure a safe and healthy classroom environment by adhering to all childcare regulations and standards.
• Document children's progress through assessments and reports to track developmental milestones.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and special education strategies.
• Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential.
• Knowledge of toddler care practices and early intervention techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery among young learners.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are key attributes for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
