Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool aged students
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
Skills:
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting
- Strong classroom management skills, including behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies for preschool-aged children
- Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
