About the Role
The Memory Care Leader will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Legacy Lane program, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of dementia care principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations of the Legacy Lane program, including staff management and resident activities.
- Develop and implement effective programs and services to meet the needs of residents with dementia.
- Maintain open communication with family members and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in dementia care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; LPN license preferred.
- At least one year of experience in dementia care, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong knowledge of dementia care principles and practices, with ability to develop and implement effective programs and services.
