This position requires regular travel in the state of Indiana.
As the Senior Director of Zero to Three Initiatives you will:
- Develop and implement The Villages of Indianas early childhood services focused on ages 0-3
- Develop strategies to promote consistent and effective support for the early childhood initiative across all Villages programs
- Establish and implement best practice training in principles and procedures for early childhood services across all Villages of Indiana programs
- Monitor risk management for ECE staff and programs and provide feedback for needed changes to Vice President of Program Operations and the Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) team.
- Develop or assist with developing submissions for Request for Proposals (RFP) or other contracts necessary to grow ECE programs in alignment with The Villages strategic framework
- Develop the annual program budget
- Supervise and develop competencies of the Zero to Three program staff to continuously improve agency capabilities and performance
- Support program staff in adherence to service standards; licensing, accreditation, and other credentialing requirements
Required Position Requirements:
- Masters degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited college or university
- Licensure through one of the following Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board: as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW), LMFT, LMFTA, LMHC, or LMCHA
- Three (3) years of experience in early childhood programming, administration, and staff supervision
- Leadership experience and experience in licensing and credentialing of early childhood programs
- Familiarity with community agencies
