Are you ready to lead the Human Resources helm of a dynamic organization? We're seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to help guide our personnel, benefits plan, and overall culture here at The Villages of Indiana, Inc where innovation meets impact.
Travel throughout Indiana as well as office hours in Indianapolis are required for this role
As our Vice President of Human Resources you will:

Provide expert guidance on HR topics to all levels of staff through clear and effective written communications and engaging in-person and virtual presentations in order to elevate HR as a strategic partner within the organization.

Develop and execute comprehensive employer branding strategies to enhance the agency's reputation as an employer of choice. Increase awareness among potential applicants and foster a strong talent pipeline.

Oversee the administration and enhancement of compensation and employee benefits programs. Ensure programs are cost-effective, competitive in the market, and equitable among employees. Evaluate and adjust as necessary to attract and retain top talent.

Direct and lead daily HR activities including recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, contract negotiation and administration, affirmative action/EEO compliance, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the organization.

Create and execute leadership development for newly promoted and high potential leaders across the organization.

Develop, generate, and analyze comprehensive reports on employee personnel information and data. These reports should cover areas such as benefits costs, staffing levels, turnover, recruitment, applicant tracking, affirmative action/EEO, compensation, and promotions. Leverage HRIS systems to obtain, store, and analyze pertinent data for strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with the Leadership team and Regional Directors to align HR strategies with the organization's overall strategic plan. Champion HR initiatives that drive organizational success.
Position Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business or related field

Seven years of direct Human Resources experience

PHR/SHRM Certification
Preferred Education and Experience

Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

Experience with self-fund health insurance plans
