Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for guiding future Villagers through the variety of interior and exterior options available when they elect to build a home in The Villages. Knowledge, attention to detail, active listening skills and good question asking abilities allows this position to personally guide future homeowners through available options. This role is the perfect blend of customer interaction and behind-the-scenes project management. This position experiences the joys of taking a home design concept through to completion; turning customers’ desires and wishes into reality. This includes face to face customer consultations and interactions, selecting and documenting home specifications, reviewing final engineer drawings and walking homes to ensure accuracy. It requires close partnership with Sales Representatives and collaboration with other departments and entities to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction and a flawless 'build your dream home' experience. This role is a vital member of our sales team. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, select and coordinate homes and neighborhoods that integrate home environment, quality, and overarching aesthetics.
- Consult with current or future homeowners to create and design their dream home to include selections/specifications from our pre-priced, pre-engineered options.
- Develop customer relationships and build bonds to develop trust and confidence; acting as a trusted advisor - making heartfelt recommendations and suggestions when warranted.
- Prepare quotes, conceptual drawings and assist in home selections.
- Evaluate appropriate home and drive location(s) per a given home site.
- Select and document home selections using applicable software and computer programs.
- Review final home specifications and engineer drawings - room by room.
- Walk each home at faming/cabinet/finish to check for and ensure accuracy.
- Update and maintain work related materials and knowledge to include but not limited to product knowledge, technology updates, newly constructed homes on The Villages website and V-mail content.
- Collaborate with other departments and entities (Home Design Team, AgeWave, Construction, Sales) for input and to maintain open channels of communication.
- Monitor data to include but not limited to what sells, product improvements, product updates and changes.
- Respond to incoming inquiries from Sales Representatives and their Assistants through phone and email correspondence.
- Attend special meetings, educational sessions and assist leadership in ongoing training of new team members.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two- (2) year college or technical school preferred; or two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Design and/or construction experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a desire to serve in a customer service role, organizational skills with great attention to detail, excellent communication abilities and the capacity to see a detailed process through from start to finish.
- Project and time management abilities are required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
