What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician position at The Villas at Bryn Mawr?
As a Mental health technician, will have the opportunity to receive specialized training focused on working with residents struggling with mental illnesses. Technicians will be chosen based on demonstrating a natural aptitude for working with, and relating to, those struggling with mental illness. This will be done with input from their supervisors and additional facility staff. Because of this skill set, Monarch will work to enhance the skills demonstrated by providing further education to these individuals to advance their abilities. These technicians will then bring their knowledge back to the facility and working to educate their co-workers on what they have learned.
Qualifications : Preferred :
- Two years’ experience working with adults diagnosed with a variety of mental illness.
