```Duties``` - Administer medications to patients according to prescribed orders and protocols - Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications - Document medication administration and patient responses in medical records - Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management - Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Assist with maintaining accurate medication inventory and ordering supplies as needed ```Qualifications``` - Must have a valid Medication Technician certification - Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, nursing home, or acute care facility, is preferred - Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols - Familiarity with medical terminology and basic physiology - Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
