About the Job
The Area Chemical Sales Manager at The Vincit Group is a key role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling water treatment services to prospective customers, developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments to explain products and services available.
- Inspecting customer equipment and preparing service estimates.
- Obtaining water samples for field analysis or to send to the home office.
- Creating analysis write-ups and contacting customers to recommend treatment.
- Explaining merits of treatment programs to educate customers on benefits.
Essential Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in water treatment required.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience and education preferred.
- Strong customer service focus, social and interpersonal skills, active listening skills, and effective communication skills required.
Preferred Skills:
- Critical thinking, persuasion, and comprehension skills beneficial.
- Mechanical aptitude highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and sales commission. The overall benefits package includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as 401k with company contributions. A monthly auto allowance and expenses for overnight travel and customer activities are provided.
