Summary

The Vine Early Learning is seeking a candidate to lead our youngest classroom (6 weeks-12 months). Preferred candidates will have open availability, be flexible to learning through different types of education, and have a strong love for children and their individual growth.

Duties

Leading operations of the infant classroom; such as lesson planning, scheduling, ongoing documentation, and building strong relationships with families.

Abides by all safe sleep guidelines

Has a strong base of knowledge about infant development

Maintains confidentiality

Conducts regular classroom observations and reports findings to Director

Ensures healthy classroom environments

Leads classroom problem solving

Knows and abides by all policies and state regulations

Provides support in maintaining records, forms, and files

Leads by example; encourages children's success through modeling and coaching

Acts in a professional manner

Guides assistants and / or co-teachers in a constructive, respectful way

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma

Must be at least 21 years of age

Experience in a Lead Position

Nice To Haves

CDA certification

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or other related fields

Montessori credential and / or training
