What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at The Vineyard at High Holly?
Looking for fun, out going and reliable servers and bartenders to join the Vineyard team!!
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disorderly conduct
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including sales, food handling, and bartending techniques
- Familiarity with Toast system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work weekends, and holidays as required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $19.13 per hour
