Responsibilities

• Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and dining area to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to address any order discrepancies or special requests.
• Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Provide support during peak hours by helping with additional tasks as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to help guests effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate smooth operations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
