Job Description:
The Spa at The Nicewonder Inn is seeking a skilled and licensed Massage Therapist to join our team on a commission-based, contract employment basis. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide professional and engaging wellness therapies and massage treatments to our clients, enhancing their spa experience and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a range of professional massage services, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other therapeutic techniques.
- Consult with clients to understand their individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the spa.
- Ensure all equipment and products are clean, organized, and stocked.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service.
- Stay current with industry trends and continue education in the field to provide the best possible service.
- Adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional spa or wellness center.
