Job and Hotel Overview

Located in the heart of downtown Lynchburg, this luxury hotel contains 115 guest rooms, 6 event spaces, and multiple restaurants on property - full of historical culture. The Virginian Hotel has a rooftop bar that overlooks downtown Lynchburg, a beautiful steakhouse, and a coffee shop all within the hotel.

Job Description

This position ensures that all areas or rooms assigned are meticulously cleaned and sanitized, and that all of The Virginian's professional standards met.

Responsibilities

· Cleaning and stocking of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

· Collecting all trash and disposing of it correctly

· Striping all beds and remaking according to the hotel and Hilton standards

· Greeting positively and assisting guests as needed

· Communicate with Supervisor or Manager any housekeeping delays or issues

· Work with other room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed in a timely manner

· Ensure all Hotel and Brand Standards are met daily

· Report all damage to a room or the hotel directly to the Supervisor or Manager

· Report any inappropriate items or situations in rooms to your supervisor or Manager

· Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor or manager

Qualifications & Requirements

· Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work Days, Weekends, and Holidays.

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand, move and walk for the duration of a full-shift.

· Must be able to work long hours

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must be able to work with team members in a positive manner
