Public Health School Nurse – Part-time
The Visiting Nurse Association is currently seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated registered nurse who wants to make a difference in the lives of students in our community, only working three days per week.

This employee will be responsible for carrying out the School Health Program following the VNHS program guidelines and in accordance with the recommended state school health policies and procedures. The nurse will implement the school health program in the assigned schools in collaboration with the school administrator and under the Program Manager of the School Health Program of VNHS.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska or compact state.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, BSN degree preferred.
- Currently certified in Basic Life Support.
- 1 year of nursing experience required. Knowledge of the principles and practices of community health nursing preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance coverage.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
