Job Description :

Dietary Aide : $14-15 Vistas at Bettendorf is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Kitchen staff. Positions available are 1st shift (5 : 30-2 : 00pm) and 2nd shift (4pm-730pm), with the ability to pick-up shifts when available, we also have PRN availability. Our purpose is to provide the highest quality healthcare services and the greatest variety of healthcare options to the residents of Vistas at Bettendorf. Responsibilities :

• Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance as necessary and on a timely basis, following established portion control procedures.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform dish-washing and cleaning procedures as directed, including : cleaning work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators / freezers, etc.;
• Sweeping and mopping floors as directed; bussing tables; returning clean utensils to proper storage areas; washing and cleaning utensils as directed.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
• Set up prior to meals, and remove following meals, meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed.

• Assist cook in preparing meals and supplies and checking diet trays before distribution, Serve food in dining room as instructed
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas, Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
• Other duties as assigned.
