Position Overview :
The Business Development Manager is a critical driver of company growth, responsible for securing new business. This individual identifies high-value opportunities and works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions. They represent the company’s full range of products and services, focusing on the unique selling propositions of vertical integration.
Knowledge – Skills – Abilities
- Education : Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, communication, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE IN PLASTIC CONTAINERS INDUSTRY
- Experience : At least 4 years in a business development or sales leadership role, with a successful track record of revenue growth in complex environments.
- Technology : Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and data analysis tools. Ability to leverage digital platforms for client engagement and sales tracking.
- Sales Expertise : Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Demonstrated success in closing complex deals with C-level executives or other senior decision-makers.
- Negotiation & Influence : Strong negotiation skills, capable of driving mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Strategic Thinking : Ability to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative sales strategies that align with broader business goals.
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executives. Must possess charisma and professionalism to build rapport quickly.
- Technical Manufacturing : Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and technical aspects of packaging solutions. Ability to translate technical benefits into business value for customers.
