Job Description: Inventory Control Specialist
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control efforts and inventory personnel across the VPC enterprise.
This role will lead and analyze physical inventory, SLOBs, MDOs, and monthly warehouse storage charges.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain inventory discrepancy investigations and generate internal and external reporting to ensure adequate inventory levels and control.
- Establish optimal processes and procedures to support inventory activities
- Maintain inventory balances between Navision and customer-specific databases
- Manage and track inventory variances
- Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement preventative actions
