All duties as assigned and the following specific activities.
- Follow Hazardous Material Handling Procedures and go through Initial and Annual Training
- Act as liaison between customers and the plant to relay key data, execute orders and meet delivery dates.
- Determines production priorities by analyzing manufacturing capacity, studying customer orders or forecast, and master production schedule needs while controlling inventory levels.
- Monitors production by collecting production data, comparing progress to schedule, customer orders, and inventory.
- Resolves scheduling problems by collecting and analyzing information, coordinating with co-workers and vendors to create a solution.
- Input, monitor and maintain accurate data within internal company MRP system and external customer MRP systems (Navision, SAP, other) .
- Work to maximize line efficiency and rates without compromising quality.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work line at all times.
- Run shortage reports to identify material shortages for production/blending.
- Run production schedules and submit to customers
- Work with customers on disposition of excess/obsolete inventory.
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate in business, Marketing, Public Relations, Project Management, or related fields
- At least 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Environment, Customer Service, Procurement, or relatable experience to support the role (Required)
- Candidate must have an understanding of at least two of the following: Supply Chain, Procurement, Forecast Planning, Customer Service, Inventory Control or Contract Manufacturing (Preferred)
- Must be consistently articulate verbally and written while representing our company with a positive attitude towards teammates, vendors and customers.
- Fluent in English (2 nd Spanish is helpful, not required)
- Contribute within a team environment and possess the ability to work autonomously as well.
- Possess a strong work ethic, reliability and take ownership of customer accounts, as well as building and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Must continuously strive to consistently support best practices and SOPs throughout the organization.
- PowerPoint, Word, Excel (basic) is required.
- SAP Environments (preferred)
- MRP, ERS (preferred)
- Must be able to occasionally lift items up to 55 lbs. Have ability to sit for long periods of time.
- While this position is primarily working in an office environment, the position can occasionally require work on a warehouse floor with noises, beeping, and other mechanical devices.
- Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment.
