Quality Control Associate
The Quality Control Associate provides testing protocols on product components and finished goods, ensuring results meet consumer law, our company standard, and customer requirement, across the three stages of production: before, in-process, and final.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
- Conduct product testing, including testing to support complaint investigations.
- Generate product testing results reports.
- Review production batch records for accuracy and completeness to approve intermediate products for use in production.
- Report all deviations and assures these have been addressed and resolved prior to issuing approval.
- Participate in the internal audit program.
- Write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
- Maintains Quality Assurance Operations by following quality assurance policies and procedures and accurately reporting necessary changes.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Contributes to the Quality Department Team Effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains Inter- and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
- Maintains Supplies Inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels and anticipating needed supplies as required.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- First Pass Yield (Batches with adjustment).
Qualifications
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- 6 months specific experience within consumer product laboratory manufacturing setting.
- Experience in safety, regulated production/GMP, quality, or other related areas.
- Ability to learn processes and procedures and assume ownership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Basic accurate mathematical ability.
- Demonstrates good judgement, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to switch between independent self-directed tasks to team setting which may have cross-function teammates to collaborate. Strong attention to detail in communication, data integrity, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Conscientious to manage multiple tasks, inquiries, and work expectations to meet defined quality standards.
- Ability to create and maintain organized workflow and output.
- Reasonable capacity to problem solves or know to ask for help.
Technology/Software (years):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with Navision or other material resource planning software.
- Ability to navigate software required to run automated and semi-automated instruments.
Communication:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before small groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Physical Capabilities
Strength (lifting, dexterity, repetitive motion):
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
Movement (standing, stopping, sitting, crouching, crawling):
- Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight-hour shift.
- Occasional bending, crouching, and crawling
Hearing (loud noise tolerance, quiet work area, public speaking, receive work direction):
- Must be able to effectively hear in both quiet office settings and loud manufacturing environments.
Vision (judge distance, read signs, extended computer work, identify details):
- Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly.
