What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Machine Set-up and Operate - 2nd shift position at The Vollrath Company LLC?
The Vollrath Company, in Kewaunee, is seeking an individual for Machine Setup/Operate at our Lakeside facility in Kewaunee, on 2nd shift. This position would be required to train on 1st shift for approximately 6 months and then transfer to work permanently on 2nd shift. There is a $1.00 an hour 2nd shift premium.
Responsibilities:
Sets up and operate a variety of metal stamping presses, punch presses, lathes, trimming and beading equipment, shears, spot welders and imprint machines. Places dies, adjusts tooling and guards, assures first piece quality, instructs operators and trains new set ups. Equipment used includes hammers, wrenches, clamps, step ladders, forklifts, die carts, and other tools necessary to accomplish task.
