Overview
The W Group at Park Inn Home for Adults is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing. We have our eye out for a DON who can support a collaborative team approach through providing guidance and a continued commitment to excellence in resident care. Top candidates must have extensive experience in ALP policies and procedures, strong management skills, and address business from a creative and compassionate point of view.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
- Current NYS license and registration as an RN in good standing condition
- Minimum of (2) years community nursing experience
- Knowledge of Adult Care facilities and applicable regulations desired
- Ability to lead, guide and motivate staff
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, residents, and families from diverse backgrounds who may have physical, sensory, and mental impairments
