Dog Groomer

The Wag Shack, growing family-owned playcare & boarding facility in Argyle, is looking for an experienced (2 years) full-time groomer! $25-$35/hr commission based, plus tips, W2 position.

We are looking to partner with an experienced professional groomer to help us continue to provide the highest-level care for our customers. This is a full-time position for a motivated groomer to expand their clientele and provide exceptional service - from basic bathing and maintenance trims, to breed cuts and exploring creative grooms. Pay is competitive and negotiable based on experience.

Organizational skills, professionalism, and self-motivation are a must. Clear, honest communication is required between our groomer, our clients, and our staff.

To start, a full 5-day schedule will be created. Once established, this position offers the ability to set your own schedule.

The Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years professional grooming experience
• Comfortably able to groom a minimum of 5 dogs/day (NO MORE THAN 8/day)
• Proven ability to provide consistent excellent grooming quality - applicants with portfolios are preferred
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall care of our spa
• Manage, schedule, communicate with our clients
