Description
The Waldinger Corporation is looking for a dependable and detailed Accounts Payable Supervisor for our team! This role will manage a team of Accounts Payable professionals to ensure the accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices and expenses to support the financial operations of the company. They will also work with vendors and suppliers to resolve payment-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute tasks and processes to ensure that departmental KPIs and goals are consistently met or exceeded. This includes overseeing efficient invoice processing, vendor statement reconciliations, and the timely disbursement of funds.
- Decide on the payments to be made each week, determining the appropriate timing for these payments to optimize cash flow and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the invoice processing workflow, including the proper routing for approvals and timely importation into the payment system.
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. This includes the preparation and analysis of aging reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
5-7 years of accounts payable accounting experience, previous leadership experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
