Responsibilities:
- Assisting with design and updating of automated systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the team on a range of projects related to automation engineering.
- Troubleshooting programming/electrical/mechanical issues with various automation systems.
- Programming PLCs, HMI’s, and VFD’s.
- Perform drawing updates/changes using AutoCAD software.
- Understand networking as it applies to industrial controls systems.
- Collaborate with electrical department for projects, troubleshooting, and panel builds.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as Industrial Controls technician
- Experience in programming PLCs and HMIs
- Strong understanding of VFDs & ability to troubleshoot and commission VFDs
- Understanding of SCADA systems
- First-hand experience with various programming software such as: RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, RS500, and Connected Components.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Strong work ethic and drive to succeed as part of a high-functioning team
