Reliability Technician

Description

The Waldinger Corporation, a growing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry leader, is adding a Reliability Technician to our team!

Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately collect vibration data on plant equipment and download data into condition monitoring software
• Improve equipment reliability and uptime for the customer
• Accurately diagnosis equipment problems and convey findings with confidence and practical solutions
• Oversee projects at customer’s sites from start to finish and documenting findings
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships founded on trust, respect, and reliability
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently with little supervision
• Assume management duties when necessary
• Attend periodic reliability related training classes
Attend monthly safety training

Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience with Predictive Maintenance Techniques (vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, laser alignments, ultrasonic testing and infrared thermography)
• 3 years’ experience in rotating equipment repair/replacement
• Solid Microsoft Office Suite skills required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Formal vibration analysis training (not a requirement but is beneficial)
• Must possess a customer first focus and attitude and be able to work with individuals of all levels
• Must be highly motivated with strong work ethic
• Must comply with all OSHA and safety regulations and company standards
• Ability to travel and work outside the Wichita area
• Good driving record
• Pass a standard background check
