Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team. Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual companionship , utilizing techniques such as art therapy to engage clients creatively.
- Offer guidance on gender issues counseling, addressing specific challenges faced by diverse populations.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Experience
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications in behavioral health are preferred.
- Proven experience in counseling or therapeutic settings is essential; experience with is a plus.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including art therapy and gender issues counseling, is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and documentation purposes.
