What You’ll Do
- Bring the wonders of science to life for Upper School students through engaging and innovative instruction.
- Teach five sections of science with up to three different course preparations, inspiring 70-100 students.
- Create a collaborative and curiosity-driven classroom where students think critically and explore the world through observation, analysis, and discussion.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to 10-15 students, mentoring them through their high school journey.
- Go beyond the classroom—whether coaching a sports team, sponsoring a student organization, or guiding students through extra-curricular experiences.
- Be part of a vibrant school community, taking part in school events, Open Houses, and supervisory duties.
- Embrace technology and innovation in teaching to enhance student engagement and skill development.
- A lifelong learner with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and demonstrated excellence in upper school science instruction.
- A creative and energetic educator who models empathy, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
- An effective communicator who values clarity, precision, and engagement—both inside and outside the classroom.
- A team player who is eager to contribute to the full life of the school and work in a diverse and inclusive academic setting.
