- Supports, coordinates, and communicates among the corporate office, regional offices, and job sites to improve compliance efforts and support corporate compliance initiatives.
- Conducts and/or assists with internal compliance reviews on a periodic basis to ensure jobsites are in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Recommends a corrective course of action, where necessary, to ensure compliance.
- Assists in coordinating responses and gathering data for external investigations, audits, and reviews by federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Prepares and submits Summary Subcontract Reports (SSR) and Individual Subcontract Reports (ISR), ensuring accurate input into federal electronic system, eSRS.
- Reviews and monitors internal verification forms to ensure small business compliance and participation on federal projects.
- Prepares small business subcontracting and participation plans for upcoming pursuits in alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Assists corporate ethics and compliance manager in completion of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) compliance audits and assist projects in reviewing relevant DBE requirements, including review of good faith effort documentation, where applicable.
- Enters reports of all complaints and EEO-related investigations conducted into corporate tracking software.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with the Walsh Code of Conduct and other Company policies, answer questions concerning the Walsh standards of conduct.
- Performs other job functions as are necessary and may be assigned to support the overall compliance needs of the company
- Associate’s degree or better in related field.
- 2-3 years of human resource experience, with an emphasis on compliance topics preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with employees at all levels.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Identify, interpret, and analyze discrepancies in relevant records and documents.
- Learn, understand, interpret, and apply laws, rules and procedures related to the Company’s compliance obligations under relevant federal, state and local law
- Compile, verify, and maintain accurate and timely compliance data using spreadsheets, pivot tables, and tracking systems.
- Some travel required to visit jobsites and conduct investigations, internal audits, and training.
- Employee is expected to work in Corporate office at minimum 40 hours a week
- Hourly Rate: $27.24/hr - $40.85
