About the Role & Team
Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research arm of The Walt Disney Company’s Parks and Resorts business segment. Representing more than 130 subject areas, the talented Imagineers are responsible for the creation of Disney resorts, theme parks and attractions, hotels, water parks, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, cruise ships and new media technology projects.
The Walt Disney Imagineering Technology Studio Media & Art Pipeline team is looking for a Lead Developer to assist with programming tasks and technical responsibilities of the group. The Technology Studio is a group of technologists working within Imagineering to build and deploy software and software / hardware integration tools to help increase the capabilities of Imagineering art and design practice.
What You Will Do
- Digital pipeline tools development for 3D content creation including theme-park visualizations, animated animatronic animations, ride vehicles, simulated projectors, and other dynamic show elements
- Troubleshoot and support previously built software products and / or proof-of-concepts
- Engage with designers and artists to better support them and capture new requirements

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $184,300 to $247,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
