The Digital Media Strategy & Analytics team, part of Disney Entertainment (DE) News & Networks, is responsible for maximizing the growth, optimization, and monetization of the digital properties across News, inclusive of web, mobile app and CTV endpoints for ABC News, Good Morning America, 20/20 and other programming. In addition to driving real-time insights and strategies to fuel day-to-day platform operations and audience development on O&O, Socials and third party distributed endpoints, our team drives incremental monetization initiatives across the News business such as expansion in Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) channels, Audio Podcasts, and eCommerce in partnership with broadcast and digital teams across our portfolio of daily shows.
This Analyst position sits within an operational analytics team, reporting into a Sr. Manager, and will be embedded with ABC News to support stakeholders throughout Business, Content, and Product groups.
The role requires a capable insights professional with a passion for storytelling and audience development to work across Digital, Streaming, Audio, and Distributed/Social platforms. The Analyst will be heavily involved in business workflows through ad-hoc analyses and regular reporting, data aggregation, presentations, and strategic guidance to help ABC News brands grow and evolve. Early presentation work will entail first pass narratives and materials for executive readouts that may place the analyst in highly visible scenarios.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a desire to understand and influence product behaviors, engagement patterns, and content trends. Must love problem solving, have strong visualization/storytelling skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of transforming data into actionable insights and learnings.

Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years relevant paid work experience in digital analytics/research, audience development, or content.
- Experience with varied data sources & visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Proficiency with Adobe Analytics or similar, Microsoft Excel, and slide-based tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides)
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the New York office. This position requires attendance onsite for at least four days per week.
- Excellent communicator with strong storytelling and research skills.
- Ability to distill complex and conversational questions into analytical frameworks
- Experience with large first and third-party datasets
- Familiarity with a data language (R, Python, SPSS, SQL, etc.) a big plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Experience with matrixed organizations
- Exposure to light modeling and forecasting
- Internship experience & college coursework related to data analysis
- Direct media experience also a plus
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a hard science or with a media/research focus
Salary : $82,000 - $109,800
