The Lucasfilm Video Assets team is the central hub for all Franchise video content including all of the movies, shows, trailers, documentaries, behind the scenes, dailies, and legacy content. The team archives, curates, and manages over 1 million minutes of footage and works jointly across the company providing exclusive assets for new creative content, productions, and projects. As the industry continues to evolve, the team also works with the latest technology to ensure the company’s rich video legacy is preserved in its highest quality and remains accessible when needed.

We are looking for a self-starter who can work autonomously. In this role you would report to the Manager of Franchise Video Assets.
What You Will Do
Projects include helping with ingesting video assets, development database, logging metadata, and providing operational support to the Video Asset Management team. This can include :
- Transcoding and importing new video assets
- Researching, collecting, and logging material
- Maintaining accurate metadata entry in various asset management databases and tracking tools
- Archiving camera original sources
Required Qualifications and Skills

Education
Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Film / TV production, Arts, Library Science or related field

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
