Job Description:

A Senior Trial Attorney plays a pivotal role in managing the entire case-handling process, overseeing tasks from initial filing through to verdict. This involves handling serious and catastrophic cases while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Senior Trial Counsel hold supervisory roles over litigation assistants, paralegals, and case managers. Key duties involve screening potential litigation clients, preparing for and participating in mediations, interviewing and deposing witnesses, advocating in trials, and preparing clients for depositions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire case-handling process from initial filing to verdict
• Handle serious and catastrophic cases while maintaining compliance with SOPs
• Supervise litigation assistants, paralegals, and case managers
• Screen potential litigation clients and prepare them for mediations
• Interview and depose witnesses, advocate in trials, and prepare clients for depositions

Qualifications:

• 7 years of personal injury experience or in a related legal field
• 7 first-chair personal injury trials to verdict
• Member of the FL Bar
• Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation
