ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Psychological Services
- Participate in planning, assessing and providing appropriate psychological services
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments to determine diagnoses and need for therapeutic services
- Provide excellent documentation and parent reporting services to families
- Plan, implement, and revise appropriate therapeutic plans for children and families
- Provide services directly to children and families or as a consultant to other service providers
- Document all services, activities, and consultations within areas of training and expertise
- Collaborate with psychologists on staff
Service Coordination
Collaborate with families in a non-judgmental, healthy, helping relationshipPartner with the Family Education and Support team to ensure families receive the help that they need at TWC and via community resourcesBe an agent for problem solvingCollaborate with other service providersEnsure efficient and timely transition to other services as neededTransdisciplinary
Joint program planningMutual supportActive agency participation and involvementShare self and knowledge with team membersSupervise student interns or volunteers as appropriateProfessional Development
Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical practice at all timesParticipate in continuing education and interagency exchangeServe as a resource for agency and community opportunitiesEndorse The Warren Center philosophy of service delivery, policies, and proceduresEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education
Required – Minimum of a Doctoral Degree from an accredited college or university in the field of psychologyLicensure / Certification / Registration
Required – Psychologist License or in process of applying for such licensure as required by state board or committee (must be licensed in the State of Texas at time of start)Experience
Required – Employment or practicum experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and / or their familiesADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAITS AND KNOWLEDGE
