What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Operator/Laser Parts Sorter position at THE WARREN COMPANY?
Following procedures, and under the direction of the Cutting Supervisor operate cutting equipment (saws, shears, etc.) and/or work with the laser operator to process lasered parts (load and unload, remove from skeleton, clean, count, package, etc.).
- Set up and/or operate machine tools associated with the cutting process, such as shears, saws, choppers, hand torches, belt sanders and hand grinders
- Knowledge of lifting and rigging procedures relating to cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices
- Follows first piece/in-process inspection procedures
- Follows Preservation of product procedures
- Drop and inventory management
- Material handling
- Packaging of Finished parts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
