What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stacker (Crane) Operator/Material Handler position at THE WARREN COMPANY?
Following procedures, and under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor assist with the daily operational processes, systems, and customer/supplier relationships concerning warehouse material retrieval and handling needs, including those that require use of the stacker crane.
- The ability to work daily and on time.
- Comfort with heights
- Ability to distinguish different material.
- Ability to properly: count, measure, weigh, assess condition of incoming material.
- Knowledge of lifting procedures, relating to cranes, forklifts, and other lifting devices.
- Ability to stack and store material in a safe manner and to maintain their physical condition.
- Ability to operate stacker crane
- Ability to perform accurate cycle counts and pull/put away incoming and outgoing material
- Assures quality of each product to its final destination, identifying all material with appropriate tags or stickers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
