Specific Duties And Key Responsibilities Include
- Prepare and process all payroll data for our multiple companies including bonus and commissions.
- Coordination to ensure the accuracy of processing payroll transactions, hours worked, tax compliance and government reporting
- Managing all tax issues with quarterly and annual tax reporting
- Validating and preparing off-cycle manual check requests
- Preparing and validating quarter year end tasks and adjustments
- Running ad hoc report when requested
- Responding to employee inquiries and troubleshooting payroll concerns
- Collaborating with 3rd parties to process employee federal and state wage garnishments
- Process Employee Referral Bonus data
- Process and administer transfer and promotion data in HR system.
- Assist with internal and external HR requests
- Assist with the collection of required data for new associate onboarding process
- Administration of e-verify and pre-employment vendors.
- Coordinates the timekeeping and badging process for new and current associates
- Assist team with recruitment efforts when necessary
- Supporting management with audits, monthly reporting and special projects
- Intermediate working experience with Excel and proficiency in Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
- 3-5 years experience in processing of payroll for a US multi-state company, payroll tax compliance, general ledger/payroll accounting and year-end payroll processes
- Bachelor' degree in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field preferred but will consider experience in lieu of educational requirements
- Experience with UKG preferred
- Excellent analytical skill with strong attention to detail to meet tight deadlines
- excellent organizational and planning skills
