What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook - Part-Time 1st Shift position at The Watermark at 3030 Park?
*Location in Bridgeport
We are excited to announce an opening for PART TIME Prep Cook. This role offers a schedule of 8 HOURS per week, 6AM-230PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking, such as preparing cold foods and
shellfish, slicing meat, and brewing coffee or tea
? Help plan production sheets for meals
? Review recipes to make sure all ingredients are there to complete production of menu items
? Check in orders that may be delivered, as needed
? Prepare menu items in a timely manner as scheduled
? Keep workstations in a clean and sanitary condition
? Make sure there is a cleaning solution and sanitizing solution available in work station
? Work with dishwasher as directed
? Fill room service orders and needed
? Help with organizing the serving live for dish-up
? Expedited plating and service as directed
? Prepare associates meals as directed
? Clean all workstations. Store leftovers and unused food products by covering and dating items
properly
? Secure and lock walk-in coolers, ice cream freezer, and make sure all equipment is turned off

This is a great opportunity for an entry-level Cook with some basic skills who does not mind helping where needed in the kitchen. We have an experienced kitchen staff who will mentor you and help develop your skills. The position is divided between Dishwashing and Cooking, which is what a great team player is all about!
