POSITION SUMMARY :
The Restorative Aide is responsible for providing nursing restorative care to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being possible without decline, unless the decline is documented as unavoidable. The Restorative Aide will provide this care as assigned by the DON and in accordance with the resident’s overall plan of care. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Must possess, as a minimum, a GED and Certified Nursing Assistant Course
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state
- Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Required education : High school or equivalent
Required experience : long term care or skilled nursing : 1 year
Required license or certification : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
