Waters of Smyrna is now hiring for Full Time Transportation Driver (CNA Required) to join our TEAM!!!
Duties and Responsibilities :
- The safe and efficient operation of assigned motor vehicle
- Extensive contact with patients / residents of a nursing home facility
- Assisting ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals enter and leave the vehicle
- Ensuring that passengers are safely seated inside the motor vehicle
- Securing residents’ mobility devices such as walkers and wheelchairs
- Keeping a record of each bus trip and the residents who attended
- Documenting the mileage and time for each bus trip
- Performing preventive maintenance functions such as checking lights, maintaining fluid levels, checking tire pressure, etc. and notifying supervisory personnel of need for further service or repair
