JOB DUTIES :
Answer referrals in a timely mannerWork with physicians and hospital discharge planners to arrange a smooth transition to the facility.Market the facility to referral sources to gain new businessBuild and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners and other referral sourcesRecruit and credential new physicians to the facilityComplete all admission paperwork for new admissions in a timely mannerEnsure facility has all required paperwork for admissionVerify payer sources and ensure referral is clinically approved prior to admissionReceive and coordinate investigation / follow through of concerns, complaints received and communicate this information with the AdministratorCommunicate effectively and consistently with the Administrator and take directions from the AdministratorEnsure resident, visitor and employee concerns are resolved in a timely manner and communicated to person who originated concernMeet with members of community organizationsPromote good public relations within the communityObtain copies of insurance cards and OBRA screens for every admissionPerform other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in Long Term Care, preferably in admissions and / or marketingNursing License Required.
