Job Summary :
- Answer referrals in a timely manner
- Work with physicians and hospital discharge planners to arrange a smooth transition to the facility
- Market the facility to referral sources to gain new business
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners and other referral sources
- Recruit and credential new physicians to the facility
- Complete all admission paperwork for new admissions in a timely manner
- Ensure facility has all required paperwork for admission
- Verify payer sources and ensure referral is clinically approved prior to admission
- Receive and coordinate investigation / follow through of concerns, complaints received and communicate this information with the Administrator
- Communicate effectively and consistently with the Administrator and take directions from the Administrator
- Ensure resident, visitor and employee concerns are resolved in a timely manner and communicated to the person who originated the concern
- Meet with members of community organizations
- Promote good public relations within the community
- Obtain copies of insurance cards and OBRA screens for every admission
- Perform other related duties as assigned
