The Watson Institute is hiring a full-time Nutrition Aide for the Education Center, a special education school serving students ages 3-21, located in Sewickley, PA. This position will be available for the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
This position includes a $500 sign on bonus!
Location: 301 Camp Meeting Road, Sewickley, PA 15143
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm / Fridays: 7:30 am -3:00 pm

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food daily for students and staff following established protocols
- Maintain orderly, clean kitchen and serving area within the Department of Health regulations
- Complete required continuing education/training as required by the Department of Agriculture – Food and Nutrition Services
- Other duties as determined by Nutrition Coordinator
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification in ServeSafe OR ability to obtain the certification successfully
- Ability to interact with a variety of staff and students
- Ability to exert moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, kneeling or brisk walking
- Current PA Acts 34, 114 and 151 clearances required
- Pre-employment medical examination, including a tuberculosis test required
