Our client is a dynamic, growing construction and real-estate company dedicated to delivering excellent service and ensuring that their clients' needs are met to an exceptional level. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Accounting to join the leadership team and drive financial strategy across the organization.
They are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Finance and Accounting to oversee and manage financial operations. This leadership role is responsible for accounting, job costing, financial reporting, payroll, audit management, accounts receivable / accounts payable (AR / AP), cash-flow management, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance
Key Responsibilities :
- Accounting : Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Job Costing : Manage and track job costing to ensure project profitability and adherence to budgets.
- Financial Reporting : Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to leadership, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Payroll : Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Audit Management : Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records and certificates are accurate and compliant with regulatory and insurance requirements.
- Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable (AR / AP) : Supervise the management of AR and AP, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Cash-Flow Management : Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Forecasting : Lead financial forecasting efforts, providing accurate predictions of the companys financial future to support strategic planning.
