FAMILY ASSISTANT POSITION
Family near Coral Gables looking for full-time Nanny/Assistant.
Three daughters, ages 14, and 12 year-old twins
- Driving children locally and to a tennis academy in Davie, FL (clean driving record required)
- Managing the family calendar (making appointments, updating calendar, etc)
- Picking up girls from school, taking girls to various appointments, including Dr appts, extra-curricular activities…
- Personal/HouseholdRunning personal errands to dry cleaner, pharmacy, doing grocery shopping (if needed), picking up gifts, taking racquets to be re-strung, managing returns being dropped, taking dogs to vet, etc
- Helping keep house clean and organized, especially in the kitchen/pantry, girls’ rooms and playroom
- Helping with packing and unpacking for trips – this happens frequently for tennis tournaments
- Managing all household ordering and supply purchases
- Helping family with whatever tasks that need to be handled to ensure the house runs smoothly. These tasks can range from: feeding girls snacks, making sure paper is in printer, helping with organization projects, trips to storage to drop or pick something up, taking out and feeding dogs, helping with homework, etc)
- Being a liason between teachers/coaches/housekeepers/chef/contractor for family
Dogs
- 60lb Labrador and 45lb mixed breedMust also be able to help care for dogs in the home – feeding & taking out
- Setting up dog grooming appts, submitting insurance paperwork for dogs, coordinating with Dog walker.
Other Info:
Looking for college graduate with exceptional proactiveness, organizational skills, flexible and very responsible
Being available when family is traveling to meet any vendors at the house, organizing sofas to be cleaned, paint re-touch, doing any errands and making sure housekeepers are staying on task
Hours will vary each day and will include watching the girls’ in the evening a few times each week, including some Saturday nights.
Work days will be Monday-Thursday and Saturday. There will be one weekend a month where we will be traveling and Asst. will be asked to stay with one or all of the girls (Monday will be given off if working the weekend).
Travel with family when asked, approx 2 weeks of the year (including Internationally – must have passport)
Must have own vehicle for local driving (gas covered). Family will provide vehicle for highway driving.
