What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-in Housekeeper position at The Wellington Agency?
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 12hr shifts, and Wednesday 12:30pm – 7:30pm
Accommodations: Private bedroom with ensuite off kitchen in current home.
New home being built which will offer staff quarters off main home – bedroom with ensuite, sitting/ dining area.
Wonderful family of 5 in Coral Gables are looking for a wonderful live-in Housekeeper to join their long term housekeeping team, to total a team of three. The team functions of excellent communication with a calm and harmonious approach to their work.
Current home is 8,000sq ft, and will be moving into a new build in Summer 2025 at 10,500sq ft.
Duties will include:
- Making the beds
- Laundry (wash, dry, iron)
- Helping with meals for the kids
- Babysitting son (7)
- General cleaning – vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms
- Deep cleaning
- Organizing closets etc if time
- Meal prep (chopping, making a salad) and cooking once per week (following simple provided recipe of rice, vegetables and protein)
The family has a second home in Montana where they travel to in December (2 weeks), February, March/ April, and Summer (2 months of June and July).
Travel is usually the head housekeeper, but may be rotated. The two housekeepers that stay back in Miami will undertake projects (such as organizing), checking the mail and light cleaning, and this is also a great opportunity to take vacation.
There are no pets in the home.
Holidays usually off, but flexibility required. If worked, take an extra day off.
2 weeks PTO (preferably when family travel). December, Feb, March or April, 2 months in summer.
Compensation: $100 - $110k
Health stipend, 2 weeks PTO (preferably when the family is traveling).
Holidays are typically off, but if worked you are given another day off during that week.
This position is open to relocating candidates, and a preference for candidates fluent in Tagalog.
