What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at The Wellness Institute of Michigan?
The Wellness Institute of Michigan is seeking fully licensed LMSWs, LPCs, LLPs, LMFTs, or PHDs in psychology to provide mental health counseling on a full time or part-time basis in a group private practice. Practice format options include either exclusive face to face, or a combination of both telehealth and face to face service options.
This position requires candidates to be competent in providing individual and/or family and/or couples therapy services. Therapist candidates may be specialized in a unique area of service or have general mental health or addictions treatment experience. We welcome and consider all specialties.
Therapists will need to be able to use an electronic medical records software system and be able to complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
We seek clinicians who desire professional growth and skill building to assure quality care for patients.
Requirements:- Strong therapist skills: empathic listening and communication skills, assessment and treatment planning abilities, interest in ongoing professional development, a desire to help others within the framework of the therapist role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must have a current Michigan license to practice in your discipline
- Ability to enjoy and integrate with the Wellness Institute of MI team
