The Wellness Way is a network of Health Restoration Clinics that think and act differently to help solve the health problems others can't. We are looking for an enthusiastic Seminar & Community Outreach Coordinator to organize an impactful seminar, foster relationships within the community, and drive potential sponsorship opportunities. To start, this will be a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
Position Summary:
The Seminar & Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for working with the team to plan and execute our annual Leadership & Longevity Seminar that promotes our brands, engages the community, and attracts new attendees, vendors and corporate sponsors. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational, marketing, and networking skills to build brand awareness and generate underwriting opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
- Work with Event’s Manager to secure venues, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate logistics.
- Work with the Marketing and Creative Teams to develop Seminar marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee Seminar setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure a seamless experience.
- Track Seminar success and recommend improvements for future events.
Community Outreach & Relationship Building:
- Develop partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to help secure sponsorships and vendors for Seminar.
- Identify opportunities for sponsorships, collaborations, and brand exposure.
Sales & Lead Generation Support:
- Engage with Seminar attendees and community members to gain feedback.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 1-3 years in event planning, community outreach, marketing, or a related role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Must be able to work in very fast paced growth minded environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable engaging with the public and speaking to groups.
- Basic understanding in social media and marketing strategies.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for offsite events.
