Position Available: Certified Dietary Manager
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Dietary Manager to join our team and oversee the Dietary Department. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of quality nutritional services to our residents in a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
Position Overview:
As the Certified Dietary Manager, you will work closely with the Dietitian to plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations while maintaining the highest standards of service and safety. Reporting to the Administrator, you will play a key role in providing excellent nutritional care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Dietitian in planning and implementing dietary services.
- Organize and direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Oversee meal preparation and service to meet residents' nutritional needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in the dietary areas.
- Train, supervise, and manage dietary staff effectively.
- Monitor food inventory, storage, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Administrator to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Certification is required.
- Proven experience in long-term care and dietary management is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of nutritional standards, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
